About those Voucher Amendments…
This is my take on one of the current ESA voucher amendments. Even those who think vouchers are a great idea will find something seriously concerning in this one! The bottom line, is that this is just a terrible bill that was presented to quickly to be well-thought out and our legislators are trying to get on the governor’s good side by voting for it. That is not how checks and balances are supposed to work. They are supposed to protect citizens from bad legislation – not just pass it up the chain and hope somebody else will have the guts to do the right thing.
